The Sports Verdict is going on vacation, to America's Adult Playground... Las Vegas
Apologies upfront for the missing posts over the next few days, I will return home on Wednesday night January 21.
Quickly for this weekend, I'm taking Arizona +4 and Pittsburgh -6 in the championship games. Went 0-4 last week so, like the Lions, only upward mobility... Good luck Jim Schwartz
I'll be sitting the 2-4 limit game at the Luxor this weekend, probably giving most of my money away.
Who are the Bucs going to hire that's better than Jon Gruden? How about getting better players TB? My guess is the Bucs are still going to be counting on Derrick Brooks, Rhonde Barber and Warrick Dunn in 2018, when all are collecting social security
The Sports Verdict does, before bailing for Sin City, want to recognize a true hero, Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, pilot of US Airways flight 1549 that crashed into the Hudson River on Thursday.
Sully's experience and coolness under pressure saved the 155 lives on board the aircraft, and who knows how many, on land when he guided his engine-less airbus to a safe landing in the NYC river.
In today's never-ending sequence of bad news, Sully is truly a champ.
You the man Sully!
Fight On From Sin City,
Nate

Don't be shy, find yourself a $50 No-Limit game and school those sissies. Or take your winnings from the 2-4 game and sit at the $100 No-Limit table. Show those donks who's boss.
ReplyDeleteI played the 2-4 limit game for about an hour, uninteresting.
ReplyDeleteLove the 1-2 no-limit game, especially when you have loose pre-flop raisers at your table.
Just wait for them to bluff at the wrong pot.
Got pocket rockets once, raised 10 pre flop, which is common at this table... no callers, took the blinds...
